Anderson Power Generation is proud to announce the successful installation of a state of the art heat pump system at our Goldthorpe site—marking another significant step in our journey toward smarter, more sustainable energy use across our operations.
This forward-thinking upgrade has been made possible through the continued support of Enterprising Barnsley, who have awarded us funding as part of another round of investment into local businesses embracing innovation and green technologies. Their backing has played a key role in enabling this project to move from concept to completion, and we extend our sincere thanks to their entire team.
Sustainable Energy in Action
The new heat pump will now supply hot water across our factory facilities, but what makes this system particularly effective is how it’s powered—using clean, renewable energy generated by the solar panels mounted on the roof of our premises. These panels absorb sunlight during the day and convert it into electricity, which is then used to power the heat pump. This synergy between the two systems means that we’re able to heat water efficiently without drawing from the grid, significantly reducing both our operational costs and carbon footprint.
